Rebrand and Rebirth
The best reason to rebrand is to stay relevant. The second reason is your story is changing so much you want customers to change their minds about who you are. If it is not a strategic move you are meddling in dangerous territories. You only have one chance to get it right; upgrade the promise don't just spit-shine the logo. Tip: It is customers first, but employees are a close second.
